There are no two opinions that the senior BJP leader and former CM of Rajasthan Vasundhara Raje has ultimately succeeded in the surrender of the high command. The pawns of Raje namely, Rajendra Singh Rathore, Gyan Dev Ahuja are reinstated and a core committee has been constituted to oversee the working of the BJP president Shri Arun Chaturvedi. Not only this, the elections of the BJP organisation has been postponed.  Raje had to throw all its might for getting the high command surrender. For five years Raje functioned as CM purely as per her sole will. Central leaders like LK Advani, Rajnath Singh, Arun Jaitely, Sushma Swaraj could wield no influence in Rajasthan and here in the state Harishankar Bhabhara, Gulab Chand Kataria, Onkar Singh Lakhawat, Ghanshyam Tiwari, Arun Chaturvedi etc. had to bow before the Maharani for full five years. Despite the opposition of BJP leaders, Raje took her decisions as per her will. In addition to the opposition, BJP leaders also leveled allegations against Raje that in a democratic system she is behaving as a monarch. Vasundhara is connected to Gwalior and Dholpur kingships. Allegations of corruption were also made but during her tenure as CM she bothered for none. But now she is running from pillar to post for saving her importance. Such efforts are against the image of a queen. Whatever the opponents may say there is no anger against her in the public at large. If you see the election results BJP has gained victory on 76 seats in the legislative Assembly. Had there been no adverse effects of the factors of Dr Kirori Lal Meena and Gurjar agitation Maharani could have again been on the throne.
Whatever mixed image Raje manifested as chief minister should not be changed by her now. During organisational elections Raje went to the state BJP office even for issue of voter list. This is an act which lowers her dignity. Arun Chaturvedi has no status against the magic of Vasundhara. When Raje was CM, leaders like Arun Chaturvedi used to wait at the door of the Maharani. Now, Vasundhara went to the door of Arun Chaturvedi. Similarly, the name Raje is included in the core committee constituted recently. This committee has been constituted in the chairmanship of Arun Chaturvedi. Question rises whether Maharani Raje will attend some meeting organized under the chairmanship of Chaturvedi? If she does so it will again be like lowering her dignity by herself. Raje should struggle further with her pawns. Presently, she is struggling within her party but in future days she may have to start public agitations against the Congress government. Even today status Raje is higher and even without any post or position she will look bigger than others.
