OPEN LETTER
Ashok ji think twice before you speak.
Respected Ashok Ji
Sadar Namaskar
People may or may not believe but I consider you a good human
being in
political circles. So far I have been believing that in addition
to
being responsive person you don’t have a
double tongue. Whatever you
say you act upon that. I remember that I wrote an open letter to
you
when you were general secretary of the Congress. In those days I
appealed that you should not attend the
marriage ceremonies
in the
family of the marble king Ashok Patni. I made you realize that RK
Marbles Group is going to spend crores of rupees in the marriage.
In
addition to the marriage invitation you received a gift worth
thousand
rupees also but it was a matter of satisfaction that you did not
attend that marriage. Few days ago I read your statement given on
February 12 in a function organized by followers of Gandhi.
I was
surprised that after ten days of this statement you attended a
marriage on
February 21. This marriage was of son of Haryana chief
minister Bhupendra Singh Hooda. Deepender son of Hooda married the
younger sister of Jyoti Mirdha member parliament of Nagaur.
Although
this marriage was attended by many central ministers, governors,
senior officers and also Baba Ramdev. VIPs who participated in the
marriage keep attending such marriages hence I have no objection
but
if a person like you attends such a high-fi marriage it is a
matter of
concern. I have already stated that I consider you as a good human
being in political circles hence I am asking this question that
why
did you give the statement on February 12 when you could not act
upon
such a statement. I know you are not happy with spendthrift
marriages
with foul exhibition of wealth. I am repeating your statement
published in
Rajasthan Patrika on
February 13, I wish you should read
your statement of February 13. If your subordinates can put up my
newspaper before you you may possibly ponder over that you should
think twice before speaking so that there is no difference between
you
speech and actions.
In Honour of Shri Ashok ji Gehlot Yours
Sincerely
Chief minister of Rajasthan SP Mittal
