Indian Muslims should understand the statement of Pak PM

Non purchase and auction of the Pakistani players irritated the Pak Prime Minister Razzak Gilani and he expressed his outburst in unequivocal words saying Pakistan cannot guarantee prevention of terrorist attacks like that of Mumbai. On this statement of Gilani strong reactions were natural in India and it has been repeatedly said that Pakistan is at the back of terrorists regarding attacks on India. If the statement of Gilani is taken seriously and understood properly Gilani has stated a truth. After Afghanistan Pakistan is worst hit by terrorism. When terrorists attack India it is commonly believed that their intention is to massacre Hindus. But the question rises as to who are the victims in Pakistan. Terrorists are killing Muslims in Pakistan. Gilani has said nothing wrong in admitting that when they are not able to protect their own people in Pakistan how can they give a guarantee that they can prevent terrorists attacking India. The statement of Gilani has to be understood wisely. His statement makes it clear that Pak government has no control over the terrorists. Had the government in Pakistan been competent enough and Army and police could have some control, then massacre of muslims in Pakistan could have been prevented.

May be the statement of Gilani is a reaction of the IPL drama but incidentally he has accepted the truth that Pakistan government is failing in protecting its own citizens. This situation should be properly understood by government of Indian and also the Muslims of India should clearly understand that the terrorists who are indulging in massacre of Muslims in Pakistan will not spare the Muslims in India also. The terrorists will kill the Muslims including others. Also the Muslims in India understand that the freedom which they enjoy in a secular India cannot be enjoyed in Pakistan and at other places. It is not that the Muslims of India are not true patriots and their patriotism has been seen in several wars against Pakistan. But what is needed is that we should all collectively fight all forces which make a divide between Hindus and Muslims. Today the whole world is affected by terrorism and India is becoming a focal point. On the borders of India, terrorism is widespread in Afghanistan and Pakistan. There is a direct fight with the American forces versus terrorists. If intervention of American forces would not be there, Indian conditions will also worsen fast. The Hindus and Muslims of India should collectively ensure that India does not become Afghanistan or Pakistan. Even if we presume that Pakistan government does not hold ill will against India but the terrorists sitting in Pakistan will have no sympathy for India. The worst threat in Pakistan is the security of the atomic weapons in Pakistan. Even America fears that the terrorists might misuse the atomic weapons. If that happens world war cannot be prevented. Since terrorist have suicide attackers America fears suicide attacks. One human bomb is killing many American soldiers in Afghanistan. In view of the deteriorating situation in Afghanistan and Pakistan the role of Indian Muslims has become very important. Although it is the duty of the government and the forces to protect the nation but the cooperation of Indian citizens is always important. Terrorists succeed only when they get local support. There can be no two opinions that Hindus and Muslims have good brotherhood in India but in view of the scenario the role of Muslims to maintain the brotherhood has increased. Whatever, the extremists like Bal Thakeray say in anger but the common Muslims of India should understand that any communal tension harms the country. The way America is holding Afghanistan and Pakistan in clutches we should all cooperate to avoid such a situation.
